Un par de semanas atrás fuimos a ver "Grease" con Sing Along en el teatro Fígaro (Madrid). Sing Along es un concepto mágico y nuevo: karaoke + cine, oh sí ... ¡TAN PERFECTO!

Básicamente, un par de chicos agradables y encantadores te animan a cantar todas las canciones de la película (sí, hay subtítulos), y si eres uno de los afortunados, te darán una pequeña bolsa llena de sorpresas para animarlos a lo largo del espectáculo.

Nos lo pasamos genial, no era caro y repetiremos, seguro.

Cantamos (muy alto), bailamos (hasta sudar) y nos reímos mucho.

Nuestro consejo es: paga los 4 € adicionales para comprar los billetes buenos, lo merece; y vestir ropa fresca es una necesidad, demasiado calor...

El próximo 01 de agosto ponen "Hairspray", ¿Te gustaría venirte con nosotros, tomar algo y pasartelo en grande? Imagínatelo... Montones de retro chicas y chicos todos juntos por las calles de Madrid... Mejor no puede sonar. ¡Animaos!

They're multiplying" or "Summer lovin', happened so fast"...? If so... Keep on reading!

Couple of weeks ago we went to watch "Grease" the movie, organised by Sing Along group at Figaro theatre (Madrid). Sing Along is a magical and new concept: a mixture between cinema and karaoke, that's right!

There're two guys leading the show, it all starts with an intro where you'll be explained what to do when a song pops up during the movie! Mainly singing obviously, but also showing off your dancing skills or getting involved in a little performance, they hand goodie bags before the show to help you perform your best. Also subtitles are displayed as soon as a song comes through to make it easier to sing along!

We had a blast! Also it wasn't expensive whatsoever so we'll repeat 100%. 

We sang (from the top of our lungs), danced (the night away) and laughed (our ars** off)

As an advise we'd suggest you to pay 4€ extra and get better seats (by the stage) it's worth it; as well wearing light clothing if visiting the same theatre we mentioned above, it's rather hot (specially if sitting in the loge seating area).

On August 1st there'll be another show!! This time will be "Hairspray". Would you like to come with us lovely bunch? Join us for pre-movies drinks and let's have a good time together at the theatre! Retro gals and lads running the streets of Madrid, fancy?

Nuestro primer evento: Retro quedada con las Madrid Vintage Ladies

Una vez más aquí estamos para traeros lo mejor de Madrid, los planes que más se ajustan a nuestras retro amigas y nuestros retro amigos.

Porque a nosotras lo que nos gusta es recorrernos Madrid en busca de los rincones con más encanto... Y así poder hacer una crónica y contaros a todas vosotras y todos vosotros cuán maravilloso es el lugar por si quisierais visitarlo. 

Pero esta vez se nos ocurrió algo nuevo, veréis... Desde que abrimos nuestra cuenta en Instagram y nuestra cuenta en Facebook hemos visto crecer retro amigas y retro amigos ¡por doquier! Y es que sólo hace de ésto tres meses... así que para agradecer la cantidad de seguidores que hemos conseguido en tan poco tiempo hemos pensado que teníamos que hacer algo especial... Y entonces pensamos en hacer un pequeño sorteo en Instagram (¡ya somos 500!) y otro pequeño sorteo en Facebook (¡ya somos casi 1000!) pero luego pensamos que sólo dos sorteos era muy poco para agradecer todo el amor... Así que qué mejor que ¡¡UNA QUEDADA!! sí, sí... Donde pasar un rato agradable con todas nuestras retro amigas y nuestros retro amigos también (que sabemos que sois muchos los hombres que hay en la red). Y así lo vamos a hacer... Una noche agradable para compartir con nuestros seguidores.

¿Que qué vamos a hacer? uuuuuy... de todo... habrá shots de Caipirinha y Mojito para todos los que vengan, haremos un sorteo presencial de algo muy especial y que toda Lady que se precie debería tener, también haremos talleres de Maquillaje, Manicuras y Peinados Retro, donde os vamos a enseñar los mejores trucos que las Ladies utilizan... (¿No me digas que te vas a perder ESTE punto?) y además de buena música y mejores amigos, habrá un Tiki Photocall ¡y jugaremos al Limbo! Y la mejor parte... todas nuestras Ladies podrán contarnos todas esas ideas que les gustaría que llevaramos a cabo en un espacio reservado para las R.S.L.A. (Retro Sugerencias de Ladies en Apuros) os ayudaremos con esas cosillas que se os dan peor. 

¡¡Os esperamos allí retro amigas y retro amigos!!

Here we are again to bring you all the best events going on in Madrid. The most interesting plans for our retro friends, because what we like the most is combing Madrid looking for those plans you and us fancy, charming places to spend an evening at with your partner, or simply have a drink with friends. Somewhere with a different kind of environment, where the ladies gather and giggle like in the old times…

Nonetheless we'd like to bring you something different this time...Ever since we opened our Instagram account and our Facebook account we've seen loads of retro friends blossoming... Oh how we love witnessing such... Especially when it's been just three months that we've been running this blog!! So to thank you for being there we thought we should do something special... Maybe a little Instagram giveaway? (we are already over 500!) Or maybe a Facebook giveaway? (we are almost 1000!!) but then we thought that just two giveaways would be way too little compared with the amount of love received... So what could possibly be better than A MEETING?! Yes, a meeting!! To spend an evening amongst our retro friends (female and male friends, we know you boys love us too *blush*) So here we go! There will be Caipirinha and Mojito shots for our attendants, a little something that every lady needs giveaway, also a Make up, Manicures and Retro Hairstyling masterclass! we'll share all our beauty secrets... hush! (Are you seriously missing out on this point?) as well as the best oldies music and best retro friends, a Tiki Photocall and a Limbo Game!! 

Although... the best part is yet to come... all our ladies could tell us their beauty concerns at R. S. F. W. O. T. V. O. A. N. B. (Retro Suggestions For Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown) we will help you out with those things you are still learning.
